Verified Reviewer | Downey, CaliforniaBad service
Stood in line for 10 minutes. Didn't have an appointment sign in sheet to sign and had to wait for all walk ins.
My appt was 815 checked in by 825 because they were so slow and then I had to wait for all the walk ins to get called. Why have an appt if we have to wait for walk ins. They really need to have 2 people at the front desk at the time of opening.
There is No excuse as to why the line should be out the door. No one knows what they are doing there and their service is horrible.

Verified ReviewerResolved: Horrendous "service"
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. There is no issue. Actually turned out to be a good experience
So, I finally got somebody on the phone and made an appointment. To my surprise everything went pretty well.
I was only waiting for about 1 hour perhaps a little less. The check-in process was pretty streamlined as I completed the form right on my phone. There was only one page of paper work to fill out and that took maybe 2 minutes. The attendant was very friendly and the process was quick.
I did the urinalysis and a blood draw and a quick physical and the physician who came in afterwards was also very pleasant. My suggestion would be to make sure you get an appointment else you'll be waiting quite a long time. This was confirmed by the initial individual who helped me. The facility was clean and modern.
As someone who can easily find something to complain about, I'm happy to report that I didn't find much of anything to complain about. Oh, the IVR...
This is the multitude of prompts that you get when you call on the telephone, is still obnoxious. Otherwise, I would have no problem recommending this place.
it's programmed to make you hang up. Once on hold, you're there endlessly. This is one of those poor companies that don't care about your time. Also, if you do happen to get it ringing for someone to answer, if it rings so many times that nobody picks up it just hangs up on you...
Like it just did to me one minute ago.

Verified Reviewer | Atlanta, GeorgiaLong wait for injury
This is not an urgent care facility. It seems you have to make an appointment for an injury.
You might as well go to an emergency room, at least there you know its a long wait. I was sitting out front and the waiting room cleared twice.
When I asked about the wait and was soon taken to the back only to wait for an additional hour or more. I will Never come here again.
Dot phisical malpractice
Im a commercial driver for over 16 years I have not been failed at my DOT phisical exam but for the last 3 times my employers send me to concentra they always find something to refer me to one of their specialist one time the nurse/phisician who perform my physical told me i was overwheight so they try to referme to their sleep apnea clinc BTW that doctor was more obese than i was
User's recommendation: Tell you employer not to refer you to this clinic they will do anything to fail your phisical exam
Unprofessional Services
They appointed me to a small clinic with 1 physician and could not help me with my severe injury at all, they just told me to wait and that no matter how severe the injury new patients must wait for two hours, Ive been here for 2 hours now and already know Im going to be waiting another 2 hours, 12 people in there all with appointments, I called the lady at the bigger clinic down the road 5 mins away, and same service as well, she said she couldnt schedule an appointment with their doctors since the have more than 1, and that I would have to restart the process, no matter how much pain I am in and no matter how severe the injury, I think this is *** and priorities need to change asap, this does not help new patients what so ever and is very unprofessional.
User's recommendation: I would not recommend this clinic and ask for a clinic that has more than 1 physician before they end up screwing you over.

Verified Reviewer | Auckland, North IslandAppalled at the level of professionalism at the King of Prussia, PA office
The King of Prussia office is very unprofessional. After I went into the office complete therapy and proceeded to my physician's visit I was met by a doctor who implied she had psychic abilities.
After asking my name and confirming the date of the initial injury, she (without any examination) implied that it has been more than 7 days and I should be 100% because typically when someone in my field of work and demographic (BUS DRIVER/ Minority) injures their arm they are finished treatment in 7 days. Wow... this offended me to no-end as I am still in excruciating pain when I try to utilize the full range of my motion. She never even asked me if the way my arm was injured was serious or just a superficial bruising of the soft tissue before she elaborated on her diagnosis.
I told her not everyone is going to sustain the same injuries as many variables come into play when one is injured. It was like she wanted me to say I was 100% healed while using intimidation tactics to have me agree like standing and moving uncomfortably close between my legs as I am telling her I didn't feel comfortable with her between my legs. I finally had to just tell her I was fine and if she says"so", I must be healed and ready to return to work.
Later another patient told me she was in the therapy room discussing the details of my visit over a room full of patients and calling me names which is extremely unethical and a violation of my patient rights to confidentiality (HIPPA Violation). I wish I knew where to report this unethical behavior as it was extremely unprofessional and borderline criminal.
- For a patient that was injured on duty
- Unethical and lack of confidentiality

User's recommendation: Be prepared to return to your usual duties after your first therapy visit if you fall under a certain demographic.

I was very impressed with all the medical staff here. Their knowledge, ability to give outstanding service, and their level of genuine care were outstanding!
The doctor, the nurse practitioner, and the MA who drew my blood all were outstanding in their teamwork, knew when to stop the blood draw so I didn't pass out, etc. Great job!!!

Went to a DOT physical and she disqualified me without any proof of documentation from my doctor. She has been trying to disqualify me for 3 years.
As a so called doctor she never asked me about anything just launched into accusations and treated me like a child. I have disabilities and require certain medications and she violated every right I have!
User's recommendation: Get an attorney before you even go to any Concentra in the Denver or Colorado Springs area.

Verified ReviewerHorrible service, no information
Every single site I have visited has horrible service, extremely long wait times even when the place is visibly empty and well-staffed. Not to mention, they don't do appointments and when you walk in, you get told that it'll be three hours before they can even see you.
This information is not available anywhere, and call wait times are equally as long. We're talking 15 minutes just for someone to answer the phone. Staff will leave you in a room to wait for the next staff member and forget about you. They'll tell you you're done and can leave, then call you back to come in again.
Not a single time have I ever had an okay experience, let alone a good one. Absolutely horrible on every level.

Verified ReviewerLied to me about my employer requesting a physical
I went for a pre-employment drug test for a trucking company on Jan 5 2024. There was little to no wait time.
Registered/check-in was easy; from a link that was sent to my phone by the receptionist. I had my 9-year-old daughter with me, but that wasn't a problem.
The receptionist called me back to the window and told me "you have to get a physical for a DOT Medical card done as well" and I told her "the work order was for drug test only and my med card doesn't expire for 4 more months" and she said "well you can take the drug test, but your employer is also requesting a DOT physical". I drove 45 minutes to get there so I went along because it was already after 5pm.
So I used the restroom prior to getting there, and when the nurse asked me "Can you do a urine sample right now"? I told her "not at the moment" so she gave me a bottle of water and I grabbed some gummies for my kid.
While we were waiting for my bladder to be full, the nurse went ahead with the exam. Normal testing like blood pressure, weight, height, but then she took measurements of my neck. I
thought that was new and odd to take measurements of my neck.
I finally got my urine samples done. Came back to the room and the doctor was waiting on me.
He then went over everything and asked "have you ever had a sleep apnea test"? I responded "no". He then said "i will explain it." He stated "the most common cause of driver running off the road is falling asleep while driving". Furthermore, he continued "it is becoming a more common thing for drivers to get sleep studies done, and the cost is cheaper, It used to be 7000 and 1 month in a facility".
My eyes grew wide because how was I supposed to do that. He then told "Now they have devices you can take home and your insurance more than likely will cover it" He also said" Im going to give you med card, so that you can start work but it's only going to be good for 4 months". (my med card was still good until May 15, 2024) But he then said "if i wanted to get a 2-year card I have to get a sleep study because my BMI is high".
He handed me a work order "prescription" sheet; as he put it, for sleep studies, HANDWRITTEN. Then he handed me a list of phone numbers to call MYSELF.
Typically, your doctor refers you out and someone calls you but hey, this is "fairly new" with DOT as he put it. He then hands me my med examination report that suggested that I have to state the test based on my being overweight. Which is extremely offensive. There are a number of things that should go into requesting this sleep studies test and body weight should not be the only reason.
At the time I was unaware that requesting this study was based on the Doctors "judgment".
I did my research over the weekend and found out most drivers are happy they got the studies done because they suffered from lack of sleep, and other complications like heart, high blood pressure, and many other issues. Other drivers lost their license or pre-employment opportunity. I however don't have any sleep issues at the moment and I stated that to him. He then stated "many people don't know".
I know my boyfriend has this issue because he stops breathing in his sleep for more than 3 to 4 seconds or wakes up choking/coughing. He doesn't want to get treatment for it and I keep urging him to get monitored while sleeping.
So that following Monday, I called around to some of the numbers the doctor gave me. They were saying 180.00 for the take home device. I then called Concentra because that is ridiculous and told them that my insurance is not going to pay and Concentra said "try going through your family physician" and I thought this was so odd.
"I told them, I tried that and my doctor asked why and it
3
may not be covered because that is not something they are requesting" I also complain to concentra that "i shouldn't have to call around." I said "yall should have a referral system in place if you all are going to mandate this sleep apnea test that is not even DOT required by law." They told me it's up to the doctor and I have to maintain a DOT med card", which made me very upset because it meant I need to do as the doctor says, or I won't get my 2-year card. I told them "I know, and that isn't right. Most Americans are fat, and I didn't even fail the neck test nor the blood pressure test which is what DOT revised in their handbook that would be grounds for a sleep apnea test, if the driver was to fail all three or had an accident related to the sleep or if they complain they still feel tired after sleeping... and I did no such thing".
The Nurse transferred me to the doctor and I stated all of this to her as well, and she told me, I have to get it done in order to get my med card extended" which is BS
I then asked for a corporate number, and she gave me the number off google. I called a few numbers offline and they all went to voicemail.
So I then called the company I am trying to work for and he informed me that it was only supposed to be a drug test. He told me they leave it up to the drivers to renew their med card. I told him concentra told me to take a physical because you (the employer) requested one as well.
I asked him if I could go to a doctor's care, and he said you can go wherever you want for that. This place seems like a SCAM.
Doctors should not make us feel like they hold the power of our CDL at their fingertips. One wrong move and the doctors at concentra can take it away, great money, great pay. I've read countless reviews and some people even stated concentra failed them on the drug test or they didn't accept the sleep studies info that the driver presented to them.
Drivers claim concentra said they needed
4
more information that took a month to acquire.
Drivers said it was just a tactic to keep them coming back to concentra, to be charged for the visit. If this is not something to look into, we really are doomed as a society because now the doctors are scamming us again, just like they did in the 1960s when they needed people to run tests on.
- Were fast and friendly
- Liars cause driver issues with no applicable reason
